Challenge
During my time as a Marketing and Communications Assistant at Manitoba Pork, I noticed a gap in the visual identity of their social media presence. While the brand had an established following, the content lacked cohesion—resulting in audience fatigue and a feed that felt disjointed and inconsistent. The challenge was to create a more unified, engaging look that reflected the organization’s tone and values while staying aligned with brand standards.
Solution
I stepped into the role of graphic designer and social media consultant to build a refreshed visual direction for Manitoba Pork’s online platforms. I created a series of flexible, on-brand templates using their official colours, fonts, and tone of voice. These templates were designed to bring consistency across all types of posts—from event highlights and community initiatives to food content and testimonials—while remaining easy for the team to use and update.
Result
The refreshed visuals brought clarity, energy, and consistency to Manitoba Pork’s social media feed. The new templates elevated the brand’s presence, made content more engaging, and helped the organization become more instantly recognizable across platforms. The team was able to adopt the system seamlessly, allowing for more efficient content creation without sacrificing quality or cohesion.
